The structure of poli-pex pipes is made up of 3 layers of tight materials. The inner layer is cross-linked polyethylene using a silane process (PE-Xb) on the surface of which an EVOH layer is extruded that acts as an oxygen barrier.
Adhesion between the layers is guaranteed by a special adhesive that is extruded between them. A specially developed compound for this product allows PE-X pipes to combine the advantages of using synthetic pipes with a high degree of flexibility, leading to simple and rapid installation and a consistent reduction in stress, even upon termination of the laying procedures.
The poli-pex pipe range offers the following advantages:

The polymeric nature of the used materials ensures a total absence of corrosive phenomena which is typical of metals.

Cross-linked polyethylene is able to absorb vibrations to a high degree, giving it excellent soundproofing properties. In addition, the reduction of pressure losses allows operation in low-velocity regimes, which favors noise reduction.
– Impermeability to oxygen and light
The EVOH layer constitutes an oxygen barrier that avoids algae formation and corrosion of the metal parts that constitute the plant. n Eco-friendly Polipex pipes are manufactured using recyclable materials which can be sent for recovery at the end of their lifetimes.
